The short version: Your support is a voluntary tip to help keep TypePup free and ad-free for all families. This is a donation - you won't receive products or features in return, just my heartfelt gratitude!
When you "buy a coffee" or tip through Ko-fi, you're making a voluntary donation to support TypePup's ongoing development. This is not a purchase. You will not receive any products, features, early access, or tangible items in return.
Your support helps me dedicate time to building free educational tools for young children - and that's the extent of what it provides. TypePup will always remain free for all families, whether or not they support the project.
Who Can Support
- Supporters must be 18 years of age or older
- TypePup is designed for children ages 3-7, but all financial transactions must be made by adults
- Children should never access Ko-fi or payment features
How Payments Work
Ko-fi processes all payments through Stripe or PayPal. TypePup never receives, stores, or has access to your payment card details, banking information, or billing address.
Important: Ko-fi is a payment platform, not a party to our supporter relationship. Ko-fi cannot issue refunds, mediate disputes, or intervene in any transaction issues. I (the creator) am solely responsible for addressing any concerns you have.
Refund Policy
Need a refund? Email me at [email protected] within 180 days and I will process a full refund promptly - no questions asked.
Please include:
- The email address used for your Ko-fi account
- Approximate date and amount of support
- Your preferred refund method (original payment method)
I aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days.
TypePup Remains Free
- Your support does NOT unlock any app features
- TypePup is and will remain completely free
- No paywalls, premium tiers, or supporter-exclusive content
- Supporting is simply a way to say "thank you" and help fund development time
Data & Privacy
TypePup collects no personal information from app users - everything stays on your device. When you support via Ko-fi, Ko-fi and their payment processors (Stripe/PayPal) handle your payment data according to their privacy policies. I only receive your Ko-fi display name and support amount.
